I painted this when we lived in San Luis Obispo, California, where we loved to take our three kids to the local apple orchards to pick baskets full of apples each Autumn. I didn't have a dedicated art sudio in our home during those years, so when the kids would go to stay with their grandparents for a week, I would turn the dining room into my studio and paint up a storm. I painted this one such Spring Break!
