Butterflies are such a light and joyful symbol of Spring, of newness and rebirth. The colors in this whimsical creature are purely imaginative, and the designs on the wings from my imagination. It was a fun painting to create, playing with applying paint in new ways to make the butterfly pop off the dreamy background.
