I painted these Coconut Palms while staying at a beachfront in Kehei, on Oahu with our family. Palms are one of my absolute favorite trees to watch in the wind, and to paint! They reach up to into the sky, gracefully and resilient, able to bend and flex with the winds, and to withstand the harshest of elements and still stand tall and beautiful. I have painted many palm, exploring various mediums and ways to capture their essence and flow.
